Role :    ACDE Set up and operational management

               ACDE : Atos Codex DataLake Engine

This resource will be in charge of :

1. Phase 1: setup of an Atos Codex DataLake Engine (ACDE)

Period September – November

ACDE is to be seen as an appliance running Cloudera on RedHat (with Ranger, Minio, MariaDB/Tang) and connected to a landscape of Kafka, Dremio, Microstrategy, Nifi, …

1. • Get acquainted with the build configuration (HW-OS-Middleware) and the 2 user-teams (AI team and Application team)
   • Presence during setup to understand setting, processes, scripts, automation
   • Presence in training on the specific setup of the environment

2. Phase 2: be the operational partner for this ACDE platform (Operations Owner)

2. • Work in a DevOps mode with the 2 teams as the operations partner for the ACDE platform
   • Interact with different support units/organisations (product support (HW & SW), operations support (OS, Network, Storage&BU, …))

·   Incident & MI, Problem mgmt – operational responsible

·   Change mgmt – prepare changes (impact, planning) and major upgrades

·   Security mgmt  (vulnerability, policy, patching)

·   Configuration & Capacity mgmt

·   …

1. • Lifecycle management (release & deploy)
   • Verification backup (MinIO replication)
   • Authentication/encryption (Kerberos/LDAP/TLS)…

Required skills:

• Teamplayer (DevOps) taking operational responsibility – interact with Artificial Intelligence team Application Build team (users of ACDE)
• Experienced in Linux operations (RedHat & middlewares)
• Experienced in Cloudera operations (availability, Lifecycle mgmt)
