Our department
The domain of IT Systems Financial Markets is responsible for the development and management of all IT applications for the departments Markets Rabobank Group (MRG) and Treasury Rabobank Group (TRG), as well as the corresponding mid-office departments (CRG Product Control) and back- office departments Financial Markets.

The position
This position is for a Solution Architect with strong Project management and Business Analysis capability within the FX,MM & Rates Area, responsible for undertaking a market review of providers of Back Office confirmations to assess the capabilities available and facilitate a decision-making process for Rabobank. The candidate will work with Architects, Product Owners, Senior IT Management, vendor management and other stakeholders to develop a roadmap for the future of confirmations within Rabobank including detailing various options.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
• Review the existing documentation and current application and interfacing landscape, and liaise with business teams to understand the domain and write up the required functionality
• Validate, document and communicate high-level functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring business objectives and the technical domain are well understood
• Work closely with key stakeholders to evaluate several options with different vendors and prepare report to communicate to key stakeholders
• Assuming the decision to progress to selection stage, facilitate the RFP/RFI process with the various vendors under selection
• Communicate regularly to key stakeholders to keep updated with process
• Document and present the options to senior stakeholders

Your profile
Experience
• Experience of Solution Architecture within an international Financial Markets organisation
• Strong Project management and Business Analysis experience
• Experience of running a vendor selection process or implementing a third party solution, preferably within a Financial Markets context
• Strong business and commercial acumen
• Experience of managing relationships with business stakeholders, Senior management and external suppliers
• Experience of Back Office and confirmations process desirable but not essential

• Results-driven and able to collaborate with management and colleagues to share responsibility for the deliverables
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to communicate and influence at all levels
