Confluent Kafka production services which is organisationally embedded and ready for use by at least 4 (identified) projects
Design for Kafka Enterprise on premise and strategy to migrate from distributed to federated set up.

Experience in installing, configuring and supporting Kafka in an Enterprise environment on-prem and Cloud (Confluent Platform & Confluent Cloud knowledge preference)
Experience in design, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting messaging & streaming infrastructure
Experience in developing or customizing messaging related monitoring tools and utilities
Understanding and experience with Cloud technologies (AWS)
Understanding cloud native application architectures, serialization and streaming concepts
Experience with Confluent Platform components as Schema registry, KSQL and Connectors
Experience with AVRO, protocol buffers
Nice to have experience with messaging Websphere MQ and webMethods Broker
Nice to have experience with Kubernetes platforms (Openshift, EKS)

Looking for Platform Engineer with extensive knowledge & experience of Kafka, both on premise and in cloud (Confluent). The Platform Engineer will be working in the CTO domain of AACB’s IT unit
