As a Scrum Master you are the guardian of the agile mindset in the team. You ensure a flawless scrum/devops process, facilitate the team building process and coach individual colleagues in a block on agile working and their performance. You are supporting the team in developing and delivering products professionally by ensuring continuous quality, integration, delivery and optimizing work flow. Thanks to your input, the blocks perform at a high level and there is excellent cooperation. The ultimate goal: to set up a self-organized high performing team! You work in a tandem with the product owner to ensure product vision and backlog management

The Scrum Master facilitates, inspires, guides and coaches two teams, also known as blocks. You keep the performance objectives in mind and you ensure the preconditions that allow a block to perform optimally. You have a drive to improve and you know how to transfer this drive to your team. In addition, you motivate your team members to continue to develop. You do this by using the suitable leadership styles.
You ensure that all standard scrum events run smoothly (daily stand-ups, refinement sessions, retrospectives, planning sessions and planning poker moments). As a Scrum Master, you, together with your Product Owner, protect the block against unwanted outside interference and ensure that the sprints are successfully completed. In addition, you stimulate development of of the block members into multi skilling, you improve the scrum method and you let the different blocks work together well.
You ensure good team dynamics and the right focus on delivery. Physical distance is not an issue for you. From Amsterdam to Pune, you know how to interact well with the people in your team remotely, you know how to forge a cohesive team.
Apart from all your daily tasks, you actively contribute to the development of the agile philosophy within ABN AMRO.

We are looking for professionals with a passion for IT who are able to improve teams’ performance. You are creative and have experience with influencing group dynamics. For us, the ideal Scrum Master is focused on managing change and is able to realize this change. You are approachable, create connection with your team and bring people together. You ensure that they can achieve results together in a safe environment, but are also allowed to make mistakes. Through your active coaching you take the individual and team to a higher level. You know DevOps practices by heart and how to use improvement methods and these practices to grow your teams.

• PSM II Certification
• Knowledge and experience of / with multiple Agile approaches (Kanban, Lean, Safe, DevOps)
